# BuilderCult Launchpad: the full description > Idea to paid app. BuilderCult Launchpad is one place to find the app idea worth building, build it, ship it to the App Store and Google Play, make the content that sells it, and get paid. Launching October 12, 2026. This file is the complete plain-text version of https://buildercult.com/. The homepage tells the story as a scroll-driven motion-graphics sequence that crawlers and AI agents cannot scroll through, so every beat of that sequence, every feature and every answer on the page is written out here. It is safe to quote. Last updated: October 8, 2026. Plus Launchpad MCP, which connects the whole loop to the AI coding tools you already use (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor). - Platforms you can build for: iPhone, Android and the web. - Coding: not required. You describe what you want and Launchpad builds it and checks its own work. People who do code can take the project to Claude Code or Codex whenever they like. - Ownership: you own the app. It ships under your own App Store and Google Play developer accounts, payments land in your own accounts, and the code is yours to export. - Launch date: October 12, 2026. - Status today: pre-launch. Join the free early-access waitlist on the homepage. - Pricing: announced on launch day. Joining the waitlist costs nothing, and inside Launchpad you always see what an action costs before you spend. - The Speedrun: BuilderCult is backing 25 people with 25,000 Launchpad credits each, early access and a feature on BuilderCult. Apply at https://buildercult.com/speedrun. ## How it works: the story the homepage animates The homepage hero says "Idea to paid app." Below it, one pinned stage plays a single continuous motion-graphics shot as you scroll. These are its beats, in order. 1. Stop guessing. Start knowing. The App Tree grows. You pick a space you care about (or let it surprise you), and a canopy of real app icons from that space fills the screen and converges into one trunk. This is ideation grounded in the market as it actually is, not a brainstorm. 2. See who's winning. A flash, and a burst of apps streams through, then settles into the winners: the apps already making real money in that space, each shown with its revenue, what it charges (monthly and yearly prices, in-app purchases) and its hero feature. 3. Find the gap. Pick the one. The flowchart opens out. The gap is what the winners leave on the table, read from the market data. From the gap come ideas, each with a hero feature, a price and a reason it can win. Each idea gets a grounded verdict. One idea gets picked, and the button on it says "⚡ Build it". 4. Say it. Watch it get built. The idea carries straight into the app builder. A prompt on the left, a crew of agents working, code streaming, and the app's own checks running (types, bundles, a design review). The phone in the middle fills in block by block and screen by screen with the real app. 5. Built. The phone is finished and playable. From here the app can be previewed on your own phone and shipped to the App Store and Google Play (see Ship below). 6. Make the stuff that sells it. The phone slides to the side and the content formats appear around it, all made from the app: Yap videos, Faceless videos, Carousels, Reaction videos and Memes. 7. Schedule it. Post everywhere. The pieces drop into the scheduler, each with a time and a platform, and then post into Instagram- and TikTok-style feeds. 8. Then get paid. Watch it land. Users stream in: 1, then 2, then 10, then 100, with a few churning out. Payment notifications tick in across Whop, Apple, Google Play and Stripe, and monthly recurring revenue, trials and subscribers roll up live in the Launchpad Pay dashboard. (The numbers in the animation are labelled "Sample".) End frame: "Idea to paid app." People who prefer reduced motion see the same beats as still key frames with captions: "Stop guessing. Start knowing.", "See who's winning.", "Pick the one.", "Say it. Watch it get built.", "Built.", "Make the stuff that sells it.", "Post everywhere.", "Then get paid.", "Idea to paid app." ## The platform, area by area ### 1. Ideate: find the idea worth building - App Tree. Start from a space (for example self-care, dating, studying, baby and pregnancy, tarot and astrology). Launchpad maps the apps winning that space with their real revenue and prices, reads what each one's hero feature is, finds the gap the winners leave open, and turns it into ideas. Each idea has a hero feature, side features, a viral moment, a suggested price and a logo, and comes with a grounded verdict on whether it is worth building. Mobile and web ideas are both covered. - "I have an idea". Bring your own idea instead. Launchpad checks it against the same market data (who already makes money there, where the opening is) and gives you a verdict. - Idea Lab. Shape the idea you picked: who it serves, which features to keep for the first version and which to add later, how it makes money, how to find the first users. The idea, including who it serves, carries into the builder as the build spec. - One click from any idea: "⚡ Build it". ### 2. Build: the mobile and web app builder - Describe the app in plain words, or start from an idea you picked in Ideate. Launchpad writes the app and checks its own work before it calls a build done. - Mobile and web. Native mobile apps for iPhone and Android, and web apps. - 20 mobile looks to start from, including 10 two-dimensional animated looks. Each look comes with a full set of screens and several colour schemes; your character and colours are yours. - Character Studio. For the animated looks, design your app's own 2D character: pick from options, refine it, get a pose sheet, approve preview screens, then the full app is built around it. - A real backend: sign-in, a database and server functions, so data follows people between devices. - Preview on your phone while it builds. - Versions you can go back to, and a "What's next" card that walks you from backend to payments to the stores. ### 3. Ship: to the App Store and Google Play - "Ship it": the App Store and Google Play in 8 steps, under your own developer accounts. Apple charges $99 a year for a developer account and Google a one-time $25; Launchpad walks you through both. - The steps cover the developer accounts, app name, icon and bundle ID, the privacy, terms and delete-account pages the stores require, the store listing and generated screenshots, a test release (TestFlight on iPhone, a closed test on Google Play), submission, and review tips. - A 44-item launch checklist per app that ticks itself as you go. - Take the code anywhere: export the project and keep building in Claude Code or Codex. ### 4. Distribute: make the content that sells it Short-form content makers, all fed by your app: - Faceless Bangers: faceless short videos with scripts written about the problem your app solves, a voice, visuals and captions, in many looks. - Reaction videos. - Carousels. - Yap (Yap Studio): upload a take of yourself talking and get it edited into a short with captions, titles and graphics from a template. - Memes. - Schedule: connect your own Instagram and TikTok accounts and schedule anything Launchpad makes. ### 5. Get paid: Launchpad Pay - One API over four payment rails: Whop, Apple in-app purchase, Google Play Billing and Stripe. Trials, restores and cancels behave the same everywhere. - A revenue dashboard: monthly recurring revenue, subscribers, trials, churn and refunds, broken down by payment rail and by app. - Payments land in your own accounts. ### 6. Launchpad MCP: connect your AI - "Connect your AI": plug Launchpad into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor over MCP (the Model Context Protocol) with a copy-paste config. - 66 tools covering the loop: ideate and validate, build (looks, projects, the animated flow), ship (build spec, checklist, store builds), payments (read) and Faceless videos. - Run the whole loop from where you already work. ## Who it is for - People with an app idea, or none yet, who want to get from idea to a paid app without assembling ten tools. - Non-coders: no technical background is needed. - Developers and indie hackers who want the research, the store submission, payments and distribution handled, and who can take the code to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor at any point. - Creators who want to build an app and the content that sells it in the same place. ## The BuilderCult Speedrun "We're backing 25 people to ideate, build and launch something real." - No polished pitch. No technical background. Not even an idea. BuilderCult cares who you are, what you understand deeply, and whether you are ready to build. - If selected: 25,000 Launchpad credits, early access to Launchpad, and a feature on BuilderCult. Selected builders also get help validating and building their app, a private community with the other builders, live support throughout the build, help with content and distribution channels, and support finding their first users. - There is no program fee. Depending on what you build, you may need to cover third-party costs such as an Apple Developer membership, AI coding subscriptions such as Claude Code or Codex, domains, hosting or external services. - What you build is yours. BuilderCult claims no ownership of your idea, code or product. - Apply: https://buildercult.com/speedrun. The application is a form a person fills in themselves (written answers and an optional short intro video). The page shows whether applications are currently open. ## FAQ Q: What is BuilderCult Launchpad? A: The whole run from idea to paid app in one place: find and validate the idea, build the mobile or web app, ship it to the App Store and Google Play, take payments, and make the content that gets it seen. Q: Do I need to know how to code? A: No. You describe what you want, and Launchpad does the building and checks its own work. If you do code, take the project home to Claude Code or Codex whenever you like. Q: Who owns the app? A: You do. It ships under your own App Store and Google Play developer accounts, payments land in your accounts, and the code is yours to export. Q: iPhone, Android or web? A: All three. For the stores you need your own developer accounts: Apple charges $99 a year, Google a one-time $25. Launchpad walks you through both, step by step, with a checklist that ticks itself. Q: How do payments work? A: Launchpad Pay puts Whop, Apple in-app purchase, Google Play Billing and Stripe behind one API and one dashboard, so trials, restores and cancels behave the same everywhere. Q: What does it cost? A: Joining the early-access list costs nothing. Pricing is announced on launch day, October 12, 2026, and you will always see what an action costs before you spend. Q: What's the Speedrun? A: BuilderCult is backing 25 people with 25,000 credits each, early access and a feature on BuilderCult, to ideate, build and launch something real. Apply at https://buildercult.com/speedrun. Q: Can I use it with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor? A: Yes. Launchpad MCP connects Launchpad to those tools with 66 tools across the loop, and you can export any project's code to keep building there. ## How to join - Early access: enter your email on https://buildercult.com/ ("Get early access").
